Meet Jeff Weaver and the Go Gorilla Story

The Guy Who Finally Gave the Problem a Name

Let’s skip the polished corporate backstory.
I’ve spent most of my adult life creating, owning, and running micro-small businesses, the kind where growth decisions actually matter, because there’s no safety net underneath them.
Every business I’ve ever started was built from personal savings, careful choices, and figuring things out the hard way.
That constraint changes how you think.
It forces you to be smart not flashy.

I’ve Lived Fragmented Effort

(Long Before I Named It)

For years, I worked hard… but not always wisely.

And yet, momentum was inconsistent.

Looking back, I can see it clearly now:

I just didn’t have a name for it yet.

One Book. Zero Budget. A Permanent Shift.

Back in college, I was running two tiny businesses with exactly zilch available for marketing.
Then I found Guerrilla Marketing by Jay Conrad Levinson. This book said creativity beats big budgets.
Perfect.
So, I tested.
I experimented.
I paid attention to what actually worked.

Those early, low-cost and no-cost strategies didn’t just work, one of those small businesses ended up paying for the rest of my college.

That experience permanently shaped how I build businesses:

What I Know

(Because I Had To Learn It)

Over time, something became clear:
Most small businesses don’t fail because they lack effort.
They fail because their effort is scattered, disconnected, and unsupported.

Meanwhile, the marketing world keeps pushing:

All of it designed for companies with:

That’s not real for micro businesses, small businesses, and most sales professionals.
It drives me crazy.

Why The Go Gorilla Method Exists

Go Gorilla Marketing exists to do one thing well:
Help small businesses connect their effort, using smart, affordable strategies that actually fit how they operate.
That means:
It also means saying no to a lot of things I could sell but won’t.
Because clarity matters more than complexity.

And the Gorilla?

It’s not a mascot.  The name and logo are a playful nod to the Guerilla Marketing book.  This shaped my mindset on everything I do in marketing and networking.
People swear I resemble him.
I don’t see it. You might.
But the smiling gorilla is there for a reason:
small business owners and salespeople already carry enough pressure.
Your marketing guy shouldn’t add to it.

Why I Do This Work

I’m a champion for micro and small businesses as well as sales professionals… because that has always been me, too.
I’m serious about helping people and businesses grow.
I’m serious about protecting them from wasting money and time.
And I’m serious about eliminating Fragmented Effort, because I’ve lived it, learned my way out of it, and finally gave it a name.

Ready to Grow Without the Expensive, Complicated Nonsense?

No pitch.
No pressure.
Just a conversation about what would actually help.
